We have partnered with Books by Rylee to create a child friendly book series that ensures survivors of child abuse know that they are not alone.

The first book in the series, My Voice Matters, explains the child advocacy center and child abuse investigative processes. It focuses on the forensic interview process and what a child and family can expect when visiting a child advocacy center. While the book informs families about what they can expect to experience, it was carefully created to show parts of the process and be non-leading in any way.

This book is unique because it can be customized by other organizations to be focused on their Center and client population. Organizations interested in personalizing the book can do so by clicking here.

Our Voices Matters Book Series

Following the release of My Voice Matters, the Our Voices Matter series second book will contain content for survivors of child abuse. It will target the emotions that survivors may be feeling and will help them process those feelings in safe and healthy ways. Additionally, it will be able to be used in collaboration with, or prior to, therapy. It is however, not designed as a replacement for therapy and/or counseling services. It provides important conversations for parents to have with their child(ren) and presents open ended questions throughout the book to assist and lead the conversation.
