SHANE SUITER, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

ELISHA CALL, DIRECTOR OF INTERVENTION SERVICES

Elisha received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work with a Minor in Youth Services from Saginaw Valley State University. Back in 2019, Elisha completed her internship with a Child Advocacy Center in the tri-city area. Since then, her desire and passion to do this work has only grown stronger. She has extensive experience and knowledge in various roles within the CAC including; family advocacy, MDT coordination, and forensic interviewing. She has been instrumental in assisting with the development of procedures and systems that will allow the agency to continue expanding its services.

Elisha is thrilled to be able to work alongside such incredible, like minded individuals that recognize the importance of providing children with an environment where they feel safe and heard.

MICHALA WILDE, PREVENTION SERVICES COORDINATOR

Michala has the heart of an activist, and she wears that heart on her sleeve. 

From a child of resilience to a first-generation college graduate, her life has come full circle as she dedicates her professional life to empowering children and their families. Michala graduated from Central Michigan University with a degree in psychology with a concentration in mental health. She has expressed her gratitude for all the ways her education and opportunities allow her to make a difference in her community and in her own circles. She tries to take wins with grace and view setbacks as opportunities for growth. 

When sharing her thoughts on the work she’s doing she said, “I strive to know when it’s time to learn, and when it’s time to lead - I love that this position highlights that as community members, adults, and humans, it is our responsibility to simultaneously do both.”

EMMA DANIEL, INTERVENTION SPECIALIST

Shane is a Tennessee native and a veteran with several years of nonprofit leadership experience. He has a background in education, business, and management.

Shane brings a lot of leadership experience to NMAC, and he is excited to help us accomplish in support of the children and families we serve!

He moved to Michigan in 2018 and now calls it home with his wife, Tessa. Outside of work, he enjoys running, traveling, and spending time with his wife and their dog, Daisy May.

Emma received her Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a Criminal Justice concentration from Central Michigan University. She also has a degree in Public Health and a Cultural Competency certification. Emma has held leadership positions for various philanthropical and community-oriented organizations, including an advocacy group. She has extensive experience operating crisis lines and meeting with clients to support them through their experiences of sexual assault, domestic violence, and stalking. Emma is dedicated to helping all victims and survivors feel safe and supported.

Emma is a fierce and empathic advocate, and she is so happy to be part of a team that works to support and protect children. 

Through her work at NMAC, Emma wishes to embody activist Marian Edelman’s idea that “If we don’t stand up for children, then we don’t stand for much.”

BRANDI HAJEK, INTERVENTION SPECIALIST

Brandi brings a strong background in advocacy, safety, and service, along with experience in the U.S. Air Force. She is passionate about supporting children and families and creating safe, trauma-informed spaces where they feel heard and empowered.

Outside of work, Brandi is a dedicated track coach and proud mom of two. NMAC is incredibly lucky to have her on our team!
